Bonus Feature
A feature (such as free games or spins) in bonus slots games where a particular combination will allow you to add to your pay out.

Hit
A winning spin – landing on a specific winning combination.

Loose Machine
A machine that pays out money somewhat regularly.

Maximum Bet
The maximum number of coins that you can use to bet per spin. You do not need to bet place a maximum bet every spin, however if you are playing on a progressive machine you will not be able to win the jackpot unless you have placed the maximum bet.

One-Armed Bandit
A slot machine. This nickname refers to the lever that the original slots machines had for pulling in order to spin the reels.

Pay Line
The winning line on a slots machine.

Pay Table
The chart that shows how much money is paid out for each winning combination. It should be clearly displayed on the machine.

Payout
The win that a player will receive for each combination.

Payout Percentage
The average winnings that an online slots machine pays out per $100. The average is taken over the life of the machine so it is insignificant in the short term.
